As Yediyol, we have been exploring the potential of geothermal energy in the agricultural sector with the technological greenhouse projects we have implemented in the provinces of Konya, Tokat and Balıkesir.
Our projects aim to optimise the use of light, heat and water, which constitute the three most important elements of geothermal agriculture. By using geothermal energy, we provide the necessary temperature for indoor greenhouse air conditioning and crop yield. Products cultivated in our technological greenhouses can have higher yield and quality compared to conventional agricultural methods. Technological greenhouse cultivation, which should be carried out on infertile soils, makes it possible to obtain agricultural yield from infertile soils.

Hydroponic Technological Greenhouse
Our greenhouses in Tuzlukçu, Konya are operated with an approach that supports the conservation of natural resources. Our drilling activities carried out in Konya provide geothermal fluid that we can use continuously in our hydroponic technological greenhouses.
By reusing the water used in our greenhouses, we also make an effective saving on the consumption of natural resources. Our geothermal heating systems ensure that tomatoes grow in ideal temperature and humidity conditions in all seasons. Thus, we achieve a continuous and consistent production capacity throughout the year, while practising environmentally friendly agriculture.

Geothermally heated technological greenhouses of Agrotermal enables agriculture for 12 months. Technological greenhouses, where the employment rate of females is 90%, contribute both to the environment and the society.
